It is the responsibility of each individual user to understand what his or her state licensing board requires for license renewal, as well as what the licensing board identifies as acceptable continuing education. Please contact your board for verification if you are unsure of your continuing education requirements, including online and distance learning formats. Course completion requirements to receive continuing education credits for a course include reading the course material in its entirety, passing the post-test, completing the course evaluation, and purchasing the CE certificate. The target audience for all of the BHCE courses is mental health and health professionals at the post-graduate level. The practice level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) is considered to be at the intermediate or higher (advanced) level unless otherwise noted in the course introduction (e.g. beginner level). It is understood that there are no standardized definitions for the terms “beginner”, “intermediate”, and “advanced”. This is often determined by the author of the course and may or may not be applicable to an individual user. Unlike other CE sites in which you must purchase the course before viewing the materials, on BehavioralHealthCE all of our course materials can be read prior to purchase. Therefore, the user can easily determine appropriateness to his or her level of expertise ahead of time. All of our course are approved by all of the organizations listed above.
